Born in the quiet hills of Berkshire County, Massachusetts, Daisy Davis is an actress, writer, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. A philosophy graduate from Principia College and two-time Irene Ryan acting nominee, Daisy began her career in front of the camera with roles in Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon and Army of the Dead, and The Pitt, where she portrayed Opal, a young woman “helping” a friend in crisis.
Her directorial work explores identity, survival, and transformation through emotionally charged, genre-driven stories.
Her award-winning short Pockets took home Best Sci-Fi Short at the Los Angeles Film Awards and Bushwick Film Festival, and her upcoming body-horror film 16 Weeks examines reproductive autonomy in a post-rights world. Currently, she’s directing So Much Potential, a documentary on mental health and addiction in America. Balancing the sensitivity of an actor with the precision of a producer, Daisy brings a sharp, empathetic eye to filmmaking that seeks truth in discomfort and beauty in the margins. Graduating in 2017, she now resides in Los Angeles, where she has been working professionally as an actress and writer.
